Had a good experience; here's what I did since some of the reviews claim they had issues. BOOKING 1. Visited Groupon on 28 March during the day, decided to try Izumi if it was free (I did not buy at this stage) 2. Read how to book on the Groupon site, which listed how to book a time via the... You can choose different types of massages may it be relaxing, deep tissue or any particular area you need attended to. It is lovely to be offered a cup of tea as it helps relaxes. The girls were very good.

I tried to book in, using my Groupon voucher that expires at the end of Jan. This voucher was purchased in the few days before Christmas. When I looked online in early Jan, there were no bookings available until late feb. I contacted them by phone, the person I spoke to told me to just book and it would be... More

Worst experience from day one! - terrible booking service, rude staff, incorrect information and I end up not going there due to a family emergency, when trying to re-book they told me that it wasn't possible (groupon voucher)....even though I am in a hospital due to a family accident, they couldn't care less. They have taken the money and my... More

I've been here quite a few times, always with a Groupon voucher which is easy to book online, yes my preferred time is always booked up, so i book weeks in advance so i get a time that i like. I tend to have a couple of voucher bookings placed in advance, around every 6-8 weeks. The massages have always... More

I bought a Groupon voucher for my friends birthday - 1 hr massage for two people. I booked 2 days in advance through their online booking system and received a call the following day to confirm. I also received a text message reminder, which was a great touch! Although I hadn't been to Izumi before, I was delightfully surprised at... More

Headed here for a massage and body scrub. Service was very professional, Marie my therapist was fantastic and I would highly recommend to others and make a return visit myself.

Bought 5 times massage package last year. The first time I went for a massage it was done by a Japanese and it felt like a proper massage. But from then on it went downhill. My 2nd,3rd,4th were done by different girls who were here on working holiday visa and have never learnt the proper massage techniques. My 4th massage... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
