The Merri Creek Labyrinth is in Clifton Hill, an inner suburb of Melbourne..It's on the Merri Creek, which is one of the creeks that flows through Melbourne and eventually ends up in Port Phillip Bay. The Labyrinth is made of rocks. The idea is that you find your way through the Labyrinth and that it has a calming effect. Then... More

Merrri Creek runs into the Yarra River, Melbourne's river that flows upsided down. This labyrinth, maze or whatever is not much fun because not much is hidden. You can delude yourself that you are Theseus and the Minotaur will appear, but you will need a better imagination than I have. The whole point of a labyrinth is that you don't... More

While staying in Coburg we did this very easy relaxing walk. So surprised how this is another world but so close to everything still. Play ground for the kids with good little pieces of art works. New toilets along the track. Easy car parking. Good concrete paths. Seats by the creek.

The labyrinth is a nice, peaceful place to visit. Walk the labyrinth from start to middle and back again, it takes longer thank you think it would.

Come on, guys, this is not even an amusing prank. You can't send visitors all the way to this pathetic little monument to stoned hippy imaginings. This section of the Merri Creek trail is a nice enough bike ride, though there are plenty of better walks along the Yarra River and elsewhere.

Not really Melbourne, but Field Street Clifton Hill, a gorgeous walk, a beautiful wishing tree for all to leave their wishes and gift for the fairies and the beautiful labyrinth, one way, in order to teach meditation, peace and direction, so gorgeous. Great for a pucnic but beware of snakes, and dogs must be on leash.

The perfect place to bring the children for spring equinox, walking the labyrinth and releasing our wishes in the waxing year... Just lovely... The faery tree is a special bonus.

An unexpected thing to stumble upon while walking the Merri Creek trail. The stone Labyrinth sits at the foot of a cliff surrounded by low shrubs, beware of snakes in summer months. It is just like the famous one in Chartres cathedral. Beside the labyrinth is a wishing tree, draped with bits of fabric and other lucky charms. There is... More

After reading previous reviews we went along and were surprised that others had failed to mention seeing David Bowie with a crystal ball singing something about "dance magic dance". Clearly a highlight!! Not to mention the goblins and the things that can take off their heads. Why was this kept a secret? A must see on your next trip to... More
