Kinky wins the night

Saw the show on 25 March 2017 and have to admit it was the best show I have ever seen. Lola was awesome and the setting, costumes and staging was awesome.

Went here to see a show (which was fabulous) and were looking forward to comparing this theatre with similar theatres in sydney. Very disappointed. State theatre in Sydney has beautiful walls full of character and heritage. The melbourne theatre had plain walls and provided nothing towards the theatre experience. The leg room in front of the seating was tight at... More

Her Majestys is a beautiful theatre that has the most wonderful seats no matter where you are seated. Bars for pre show drinks and interval drinks. Of course all the great musicals are here and Kinky Boots was no exception. Fantastic show!

This was number 5 on our list of shows to see during our most recent visit to New York but we only had a week so only managed to see four. As it turned out, we should have cut "The Book of Mormon" from its number 1 position on the list and seen "Kinky Boots" then instead (but that's another... More

We saw Kinky Boots ah Her Majesty's Theatre. What a great show and a great theatre. Not a bad seat in the house. Great restaurants nearby and right next to Chinatown. You can preorder intermission drinks and they are right there waiting for you.

Absolutely loved this musical. The lead actors were amazing, such great voices & they played their parts extremely well. Loved the drag queens, soooo glamorous & great dancers. We couldn't take our eyes of them. Unique story, wonderful music & a real feel good production. If you haven't been, what are you waiting for, you simply have to go. I'd... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration over a century ago. In restaurant after restaurant on Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving up age-old recipes. The lighting may be unromantic, the patrons loud, and the service no-nonsense, but the food is sensational.
