It is a botanist paradise and is the best such gardens we have seen anywhere in the world. The staff at the visitors center were very helpful.

I went for Punting on the Lake, which was great, and then had a good walk around the gardens, shopped at the gift shop and had tea at the tearooms. In the Xmas holidays there is usually performances of Wind in the Willows also.

The perennial border is spectacular from Nov - April, and the gardens on the east side are also pretty special in summer and autumn particularly. A great place to unwind.

Good for a weekend walk, relaxing and nice atmosphere. It is conveniently accessible close to the South Bank and can spend there hours if you want. Don't miss the WWI Memorial!

We went in Fall, and the place was still beautiful. Fountains, birds and some flowers. Just a peaceful place, even though it's in the middle of the city.

Been a while since I've had coffee there but places like this tend to be very inconsistent with their quality of coffee depending on who is making the coffee.
