Well worth the entry fee. Lots of interesting exhibits from indigenous peoples to IMAX theatre. Plan to spend a good three hours there. Staff very helpful and cheerful too.

I have been several times with my grandchildren who are now 7 and 11. This last time was to see Brickman Wonders of the World. It was amazing as is the rest of the Museum. I have been to other museums in Australia and I think this is definitely the best. There are so many different exhibits that will keep... More

I visited with friends on a rainy day. The Dinosaurs and Mega Fauna were fascinating. An ancient Wombat the size of a horse is pretty amazing. There were sections on rocks (Wow) and volcanoes with a short movie and 3D glasses. Lots of stuffed animals and birds. Excellent section on insects with interactive domes, very popular with visiting school kids.... More

Wonderful and educational place to take your children no matter their age. I was also very impressed with the healthy food on offer at the cafe. All staff we encountered were friendly and everything on display was well thought out. One of the highlights of our visit to Melbourne.

Several museums crammed into one, this is a good morning or afternoon spent discovering art, natural history, or city history depending on which floors you visit.

This Museum looks like a National Museum. That is to say, it's better than the National Museum of Australia in Canberra. It's huge and filled with amazing exhibitions. We only had an hour but it was excellent and the children loved exploring all the plant and animal exhibitions.

The museum is very good. We did a bird listening guided tour with Adrienne which was a really nice touch.

Not a boring thing in sight. Every nook and cranny was filled with interactive delights. The most unboring museum ever! My 9 year old loved it. I loved it. A good mixture of history and animal and flora and fauna. If u have kids and its raining go here. And it rains quite a bit in Melbourne!
