A must visit for all tennis fans. If your time is limited as was ours, you have to pick & choose your places of interest. If you love tennis you will find this a real treat.

Visited on Sunday 4th March during a recent visit to Melbourne. It is great watching tennis being played here and one day I'll be there in person while the Australian Open is being played, not like today when it is practically deserted.

It's a must to watch a Tennis match (Australian Open) or a concert at this huge comfortable and well maintained tennis court.

Went there to watch a concert. Seats are comfortable (comparatively) in consideration of the crowd it accommodates. A lots of staff there is help you to find your seat. Not too far away from public transport. Heaps of toilets.....

I don't believe there is free wireless. I didn't see any connections. Have you seen the prices of the food. I doubt it.

We stayed in the CBD. As others have mentioned, there is very good connectovity by tram to the Rod laver Arena, so it was not a problem. Tram transport within CBD is free :)
