I was looking for a hoho service when I came across the Visitors Shuttle and decide to give it a go. Although the Chinatown stop was quite close to us, the ticket vending machines only accept coins, and no way did I have $20 in coins, so we took the free tram to Federation Square and bought the tickets at... Awesome, cost effective and easy way to get around Melbourne. Stops at key stops around the city. We never waited long for a bus. Third trip to Melbourne and have used it every time. Will do so again on our next visit. Drivers were very friendly and always smiling. Must say, Declan you are a funny man! Your commentary kept... More

If you have 2 full days to make full use of the ticket this is very good value for money. On the first day a couple of stops were closed (I think the MCG one was shut as there was an Aussie Rules match on in the evening). The length of the days could be longer, and obviously traffic can... More

This is a one way circular tour that enables you to get off at any of the set stops. Sadly both the market (day off) and the main attractions of the Melbourne museum and Royal exhibition building (tidying up after an event) were closed so very little for us to hop off for so we just stayed on for the... What great cost effective way to see the sights of Melbourne, you have the benefit of a recorded audio as the bus travels along with the driver also adding information. All for $20 over 2 days!! And get on and off whenever at the appointed stops. It's a no brainer!!

A great way to familiarise yourself with all of the sights in central Melbourne. At Aus $10 for two days this is great value. You can purchase tickets at any of the stops at the ticket machine - coins only (no notes or credit cards), easy to use. There is also a timetable at each stop. You can either do... More

The shuttle provides easy access to CBD points of interest that are not covered by the free heritage tram. A ticket that lasts 2 days makes it good value if you are in Melbourne for a few days. The drivers give varied views on points of interest, in addition to the recorded points. Care is taken to allow less able... More

We like to use hop on buses in cities as it's a great way of seeing the sights, orientating yourself and if on limited time a good way to cover distances. This however was a disappointment. I booked online in advance. It is no longer free but it's still cheaper than other options and you have to wonder why. The... More

I highly recommended the Tourist shuttle, the tickets are only $10 and are valid for 2 days. We decided to hop off at Docklands, looked around for an hour or so , then hopped back on. I was a first time visitor to Melbourne and I thought the route gave me an excellent overview of the city. We also hopped... More
