we decided to take a detour thru these tiny towns on the C254 on our trip from mildura to the SA murray. so glad we did. great attraction that is preserving the past of this rugged part of victoria. very interesting old buildings and objects lovingly maintained by local volunteers.

On the strength of the other review for this attraction that was rather damning we thought that perhaps it was a mistake to drive out here. We were actually pleasantly surprised that a community effort to retain and display bygone era memorabilia is actually worth it. It's true that this is not presented as polished as the large scale pioneer... More

The people who run this should be whipped. It is filthy, feral cats sleep on 150 year old beds. All the machinery is left to rot outdoors. What amazed me is that people actually said it was a great experience in the visitor books. It's not it is sad and dirty. It also feels abandoned, there was no one there... More
