Inspiring elevation, alit at night, and a landmark during the day, this Anglican Church is typically understated on the inside, but well worth a visit to admire if you are in Battery Point.

This is a classical architectural building that looks so grand that it is worth a visit just to see it from the outside and admire its own beauty It is one of the older buildings around when the area is not that old itself

After breakfast in Salamanca Square, I walked up to Battery Point - my second trip here as I just adore the old houses etc. I happened upon this lovely looking Anglican Church which was closed unfortunately.

This church is unusual! It is built with two huge Corinthian pillars out the front. The interior reminds me of a Masonic lodge. You can view the bell tower from all over Hobart especially as it is lite up at night. Well worth a view...More

This one of the earliest churches in Hobart, in the lovely Battery Point area so it is surrounded by beautiful old houses, interesting residential streets, and views of the water. It is a functioning Anglican church, so services are held frequently. Take a look inside...More
