Hubby and I drove up the mountain twice, once we were fogged in and frozen (windchill -11!) and once had a fantastic view (windchill -8) well worth the drive. Didn't experience any ice, but it hadn't been snowing or raining the days we visited (10...More

Gets real windy at times so hold on tight! But the views are spectacular and worth it. There's a small indoor viewing section, but for the most part, you're right in the elements. Adventurous and challenging hikes start/finish here as well as a bit further...More

The views from here are beyond description! Just make sure you can see the top of the mountain from the town, otherwise you'll get up there and see nothing but clouds. We caught it on an absolutely perfect day in August. No snow and not...More

Great drive, short or long visit. Didn't matter we couldn't get to the top. Went for a wander, and walking back to car it started to snow 😊❄️👍🏼

There are stairs down to the lower viewing platforms, so it's not 100% accessible. But you won't be missing out by not going to these. As the others said, take very warm clothes.
