A delightful 5km (approx), mostly shaded walk To Montezuma Falls, which drop 104 metres to the rocks below. The walk is along an old rail track with remnants of old sleepers still visible in places, the gradient is easy. Along the way you can glimpse...More

Easy walk but quite long compared to some other waterfalls nearby. Amazing waterfall although the size makes it difficult to photograph. Should be viewed in real life to soak in the massive power of this huge waterfall.

This is an easy 75 minute walk in some of the most beautiful wilderness that I've seen. The walk follows the old tramline from Williamsford to the falls. The more adventurous can do the full walk to Melba Flats :)

It took us about 1 hour and 15 minutes to get to the falls. There are parts of the walk that were very muddy so be prepared. It is shady basically all the way. For quite a while you can hear the river below but...More

You can reach the waterfall from two directions, one by car and the other a reasonably long trek, depending on your preference. It being a wild area you will see untouched rainforest and unknown flora - an interesting adventure for Naturalists.

We visited several waterfalls in Tasmania, this one was easily the best. The hike is easy along the old rail bed and there are things to see on the way (flowers, small falls, rivers). It was quiet. The falls are spectacular and the wire bridge...More

When I first looked at walking to the falls I was slightly dubious but the walk is a nice steady incline that you don't feel, chuck on a pair of good runners and the walk is nothing. You hardly feel like you have spent 1.5hrs...More

This is a free, easy, level walk which we took after a couple of rainy days so the falls were full. We saw a few people on our way there/back but had the falls to ourselves which was a real treat!

This waterfall is probably a much better spectacle with some recent rainfall. It can underwhelm without the water. The walk is nice, can also be quite wet so good shoes are in order. Take your time with this one, it is much better enjoyed at...More

In total the walk to and from the waterfall is 9.6 Km. It is through a cool rainforest and is on even ground, so it is an easy hike. The test to the nerves is walking across the gorge on an extremely narrow bridge in...More
