There is such a fantastic history to this place that makes the visit so much more than just seeing the property. A great example of an underground home but more importantly of perseverance and determination.

The tour of the house is $5 and add a tour of the mine and it's another $5, but well worth the money. It is an amazing place considering its history and the inside pool is fabulous.

Faye's Underground is worth seeing to appreciate the structure of the underground buildings and how people cope without windows and natural light. During this tour we learnt about Faye and her 2 friends who actually hand carved this dwelling.

Faye's is well worth the visit. Amazing history of a pioneering hard working woman who with 2 female friends dug out this beautiful house over the course of 10 years whilst also mining for opal at the same time.

Loved this attraction, amazing to see what 3 women on their own did. I could live in this house. I loved the way it has been kept retro in line with when it was built it should I say dugout. Amazing amazing amazing

Loved this home and opal mine tour. Great value at $10 per person for approx 90 mins of local knowledge about a female legend. Faye was one determined lady. Well worth a visit.

It was an easy walk, perhaps ten minutes. And, it was interesting!
