The driver was punctual to pick us up from the hotel we stayed. We visited 2 wineries : The Seppelfield Winery and learnt more about their wine and infamous tawny. Seriously delicious. The Winery has a very beautiful landscape too. Then we visited the famous Wolf Blass vinery. It is very big and very sophisticated. On the Wolf Blass winery,... More

If you like South Australia wines the Barossa Valley is one of the best, book a wine tasting tour or make up your own with a sober driver. We like to stay in the Barossa with accommodation to suit all budgets you need 1 or 2 days to enjoy the wineries on offer and then you won't visit them all.

We did the wholoe tour, it's great, go to Jacobs Creek and Seppeltsfield Estate (my favourite). If you don't want to spend money on wine tasting get four people and they give you a free chance. You will have to spend one day, there are some parks around if you want to have a barbi.. Depending on the weather though. Add... More

We took the Grand Barossa tour that went to Seppeltsfield Estate first (which was our favourite vineyard) - an old established vineyard with fabulous grounds and all in all, a very slick operation - from the time we drove down the palm tree lined driveway, until the time we left - which was all too soon! We were welcomed and... More

I did a one-day tour with Groovy Grapes through the Barossa Valley with heaps of winetasting. It was quite nice, probably even more so if one is really into wine. We had a very nice tour guide (I believe his name was George?).

Really liked the Hahndorf village a taste of Germany with such nice sandstone houses. Tasted many good wines in the day and visited lovely vineyards too.

Extraordinary way to see the inner workings of a vineyard/winery. Hosts are cordial, informative, very willing to answer questions. And the tastings are endless... Highly recommend to anyone traveling down under.

We went with AAT, just nine people on a small bus with excellent commentry throughout the day by our driver Michael. Our first stop was at the Jacobs Creek Visitors Centre where we tasted a variety of wines with the excellent Nick, followed by a visit to the Saltram's vineyard for further samples! You can buy the wine at the... More

Really enjoyed this trip. We took the Barossa Valley wine tasting day tour which also included Hahndorf. Really thought Hahndorf was a waste of time. Would have like more wine tasting. If you really like wine and experiencing vineyards and cellar doors I would suggest a smaller tour or a more customized tour. Of course, expect to pay more. That... More
