Her Gothic stonework is clean & beautiful. She is an imposing figure on the eastern landscape from Victoria Square, the centre of the City of Adelaide. When Her bells peal they advise tht compassion is needed to sooth a tragic event in the the world. Daily i view her beauty in the midday sun whilst eating lunch. Wonderful !

In the heart of Adelaide City just off Victoria Square this Catholic cathedral is quite traditional in its presentation. The stained glass windows are of interest and the statue of St Patrick reminds one of the Irish influence behind its establishment. The calm, subdued interior invites opportunity for prayer. A new organ has been installed and this will enable opportunity... More

We dont come often to Adelaide- but always visit a church some place. We are not bound to any religion, but still go in. Why? The bustle of the streets you walk, the tourist sides we visit , the crowded shopping malls, all that is part of a holiday - a trip to a place you have been already or... More

This is a church built in stages over many years but looking as if completed many years ago. The tower was only finished in 1996 when the cathedral was dedicated. There are copies of original architectural drawings in the foyer showing changes to original plans. Certainly a peaceful sanctuary from the traffic and pedestrians outside.

Not far from Victoria Square, a stunning church, beautiful outside and worth a look inside also. The architecture is brilliant, not quite the age and extravagance of churches in Europe but nonetheless worth looking at.

The cathedral is a beautiful place for those wanting to attend a mass service. It is also of great interest for lovers of art, structure and history.

This church next to Victoria square is easy access from city centre. Very beautiful stoned church. The church is in huge complex that house Adelaide Diosece and connect to St. Aloysius school. It's a must visit for any historic building lovers.
