I think this tram is great. Stops right in front of the shops, restaurants and beach at Glenelg. It's a frequent service and runs quite late into the evening.

Got the tram to Glenelg beach. Trams every 15 mins on average. Tickets available on board from self dispensing machine, costs about £3.50 if going all way to beach and takes about 25 mins from centre. Free travel if travelling within centre boundaries

We've taken each of our grandchildren on the tram to let them experience what it would have been in days gone by. It's a lovely way to travel from the city to the beach.

Can't remember the cost, but if you're staying in Glenelg and planning to go in and out of the CBD a few times, it's worth getting a plastic card from the Jetty Rd newsagent.
