Lovely beach, beach equipment available for hire if not included in your accommodation package. Huge tidal difference which stops some sports been allowed which can restrict your beach adventures! Eg - sailing. Paddle boarding

When the tide is in, the beach is picturesque. When the tide is out, it is rocky and you have to walk quite far to get to the water which can be uncomfortable under foot. Sunrises are amazing here. We didn't see any turtles when...More

You better visit this beach at high tide because at low tide it is an expanse of ugly glutinous mud.

What more can you want than to sit on a beach, on a deck chair under a coconut tree? Maybe just by adding the clear waters of the Whitsunday’s and a good book. Amazing place to relax

North facing, very picturesque and quite sheltered. Big palms for shade and plenty of loungers to spread out on. Great for the kids when the tide goes out - which is quite a long way.. . Lots of sail boats, kayaks, paddle boards etc to...More

Sorry just seen this, probably too late but for others We chartered a boat and swam off that not off the shore and just to warn everyone needed stinger suits. Pretty mandatory for when we were there in February.
