For us this was a once in a lifetime hike to the top. We wont do it again as it was a very long walk with our young children, but none the less, once at the top the view was incredible. If you are fit...More

Fantastic views from the top make it worthwhile, it’s not a really hard climb but it is steep and a bit challenging in places. Bring water, a snack and your camera as the views are stellar and it is serene and quiet up there.

OMG what a climb on a hot day. But once at the top the view is amazing. Take the time to read the signs and the history of the lighthouse as it is very interesting.

After many, many visits to Fraser Island we finally decided to make the trek up to the lighthouse. It's a far walk, it's steep, it's uneven and if you aren't fit, it's not a great walk! But when you reach the top, the views are...More
