Fraser Island's iconic Cool Dingo off-roading, guided tour takes the hard...

Fraser Island's iconic Cool Dingo off-roading, guided tour takes the hard work out of managing tides, traffic and navigation on the world's largest sand island, and puts the fun back in to adventure touring.

World Heritage-listed Fraser Island is well known for beautiful, fresh-water lakes, untouched sand dunes, ancient rainforests and the spectacular 75-mile ocean beach, which comes complete with a shipwreck - all of which are discovered, along with local legends, interp and insider knowledge on a Cool Dingo tour.

Cool Dingo two and three-day tours are fully guided and all-inclusive and promise a good night's rest on Fraser Island, with comfy lodge accommodation, hearty buffet meals, air-conditioned 4WD tours and return catamaran transfers - as well as some amazing scenery.

You can also forget fidgety nights in tents and worrying about how to get from one spot to another... There's plenty of 4WD action, great value and fun to boot - and best of all no tents, no sleeping bags, no cooking, no driving and no worries.

Tours depart from Fraser Island, Hervey Bay, Rainbow Beach and the Gold Coast (selected dates).

I had so much fun. I am happy I chose tag along as I knew some people who went on the big bus and didn't have as much fun. Jarredo was an awesome guide. He made us all become best friends and let us drive, most of us anyway. There was no WiFi which was really good. The beaches are... More

Can't put into words how much fun I had on this tour. No wifi (more social) and great vibes just breed an awesome atmosphere and really fun days and even better nights at the camp. The tour guides also made the trip and really engaged and became part of the group - Muzza is a legend. I travelled Australia for... More

I think the Cool Dingo Tour is great for people 17-25 years and great for people who still go to school or study. My friend and I are above 30 and decided to take a month off work to relax in Australia. The Cool Dingo Tour was the last place where we wanted to be. Cruising around in a bus... More

Booked this tour as part of our Oz Experience Cruiser pass through STA Travel. From start to finish the tour was everything we'd hoped for. We were picked up from Pialba coach station in Hervey Bay where we were driven to the Kingfisher Bay Resort office closer to the port. After the ferry over to the island we were shown... More

Now I know why everyones reviews are amazing because Fraser is amazing! But if you get Jarrad (aka Jarrado) you are one lucky team, he made our trip. This guy is awesome, hats off to having to deal with our group for a start but also he's such a laugh! When doing the walks try and walk close to him... More

This was one of the best tours I have ever done. Driver was a guy named Peter who was fund of information. Be prepared to be informed !!! Cool Dingo is really COOL. Great buses which Peter drive skilfully along narrow sandy cuttings, through rainforests and onto 75 Mile Beach where three planes were lined up for a quick air... More

We've done the 3 day / 2 nights trip and it was a good decision to choose this option. The Cool Dingo tour is super organized! Everything was perfect from the beginning on. They picked us up from our hostel and brought us to the ferry. When we arrived on Fraser Island, our tour guide Davy already waited for us.... More
