We had looked at going last time we visied but decided against it. The dinosaurs made us go this time and I'm glad they did! They were amazing! Our 1 and 4 year olds loved it as did we. Highly recommend with the Dinosaurs.

The dinosaurs are amazing real like and move and growl etc a little bit scary for little children but they were fine after they realized it was not coming after them.

This is a must see in Townsville if you have younger children. We recently visited while we were on holiday in Townsville. We spent half a day wandering around the museum, kids can interact with different displays. Not overly expensive to get in we used a discount voucher out of a tourist book we picked up while in Townsville. There... More

The museum was a great morning out. The exhibits were interactive and the kids had so much fun. I thought maybe a museum might not be the thing for 12 year olds but they loved it and continued talking about it long after we left. The admission fee was reasonable and the café was great with descent prices.

Dinosaur exhibit a hit with young and young at heart. The rest of the museum was worth a look too. Reasonable admission price, friendly staff & good food at cafe.

Thoughtfully laid out museum. Nice modern spacious building. Far bigger and with lots more to see than we'd expected. A credit to the designers and organisers that there's such a nice museum here. We looked at a range of things including dinosaur and special far North Queensland exhibits. The exhibits on the HMS Pandora are wonderful. They were all very... More

It was well laid out and had the dinosaur display whilst we were there. It was worth the money, and we found better than the aquarium which was practically next door.
