Site seeing in Surfers Paradise today and the first attraction was The Wax Museum which has two areas both certainly worth visiting. Starting off in the chambers of horror torture devices, hanging posts, flesh tearing hooks to name a few. Then the World in Wax...More

We wondered about for close to 2 hours! It was brilliant, there were a few items which will need to be updated, but to have the experience to walk through a proper wax museum is just fantastic! To read through Hitlers will, marvel at the...More

We found the guided tour of the Chamber of Horrors very interesting and the guide gave a very knowledgeable description of the torture methods used in those times of old. The two gentlemen staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The only...More

Interesting with the right guide but lady at front desk in quite rude. Overpriced for what it is. Never made to feel welcome.

The Wax Museum is easy to find on Ferny Ave. Some of the figures looked like the real life icons, but others did not. They are all behind glass. The costumes were all lovely. Once we concluded our self guided tour, we were taken downstairs...More

Save your money for shopping. This is an ordinary attraction. The figures aren't really that life like therefore nothing is particularly scary or interesting.

We have noted your comments and it is pleasing that you have an opinion. It is very difficult to criticise some of the Great Wax Sculptors and our staff. We wish you all the very best.

We visited on a wet day, thought we'll do indoors, not what I expected. Some of the figures could have had more of a resemblance. There was a tour guide who took you through and told you the history of certain displays. Kids should enjoy the walk...More
