My family & I loved our day with Quicksilver. It was a fantastic experience, the time went too fast. This company is so completely organised & always look to make your day an enjoyable one. We went on the guided reef snorkel tour with the marine biologist, an extra cost, but so worth it. We did the helicopter flight with... More

Our group had 3 certified divers and 1 non-diver. The certified divers were able to dive 3 times per day and the non-diver was able to take their "Introductory Course" and also dove 3 times on the reef. Most of the people on the boat are snorkelers however and the cruises cater to them as well. They provide all the... More

Enjoyed a wonderful day on board quicksilver Sunday 15 January. It's so well organised and managed by this excellent crew. I did this tour in 1997 and wasn't disappointed to book this time. There's so much choice, if you have spare cash you can book experiences, e.g. intro to snorkeling, adventure snorkeling with a biologist, diving for beginners padi or... More

As it was our first time on the reef and first time snorkelling we decided to use quicksilver due to the options available. On the boat we purchased the introduction snorkelling tour with a marine biologist which was $150 for the family which included the stinger suits (suits are $8 each to hire). Once we arrived on the pontoon we... More

While this is a very good experience I personally much prefer the low isles. The submarine ride is definitely a high point of the ride touring around the parts unavailable by snorkelling. The snorkelling is a great experience but the downside is it being so far down and therefore reducing the colours of the reef. Overall, this is a day... More

Our kids had a lovely time with our snorkelling guide, Tatjana. She took good care of everyone, especially the kids. All the kids were snorkelling for the first time and she was their primary support. She was a natural with the kids and they just love her. Glass bottom platform and submarine were another great opportunities for families and non-swimmers... More

We travelled with quicksilver over 30yrs ago out to the barrier reef. It was wonderful then. It is very sad to see the coral dying and the loss of colour ( due to bleaching) and structure due to people standing on it and breaking it over the years. Whilst it was an enjoyable day, it was very much a regimental... More

We snorkelled in the outer Reef. Boat was huge and comfortable. They provided lunch which was a buffet style. Lacked a bit of variety but it was okay. Huge boat with lots of people so it wasn't really personal and you had to be careful that you swam away from everyone else. I went at stranger season so paid an... More

We booked quicksilver cruises for outer reef cruise. This turned out to be our best activity in Australia. Catamaran was very big and convenient. Our kids enjoyed Unlimited tea coffee with cookies . Safety was paramount. Snorkeling equipments were adequate. My wife don't know swimming but still she enjoyed a lot. Just one request that please provide something better for... More

If you'd like a well organised, informative & fun trip then book with Quicksilver. We did one of their outer barier reef trips & it was such a fantastic experience. Staff are well qualified and put you at ease in the water. We enjoyed the informative talks the staff gave on the boat on the way to the reef. Lunch... More
