Des Spencer is a world renowned artist recognised for his vivacious images of Australia. Land and cityscapes, floral, abstract studies and underwater scenes explode with pulsating colour. Original paintings and giclee prints are available for purchase in the gallery or create your own painting with The Ultimate Art Experience. Paint side by side with expert guidance from Des. No experience needed - take home a unique painting from North Queensland painted by you. Bookings essential.

The gallery is now closed and Des Spencer now lives in Dubai in the UAE. However you can still purchase his original paintings or prints that are hand finished by the artist.

This artist reminds me of Ken Done back in the day. Beautiful art work, and competitive prices. Although for some reason he is moving from Port Douglas.

Des Spencer's art is unique and has a very tropical feel to it. If you want to take a piece of the tropics home with you this is the place to check out. They can ship canvases to you.

My husband and I were walking down port douglas Main Street and were drawn to the artwork. We went in to have a look inside and were still drawn to the painting out the front. 'City lights' was the name of our painting that we ended up purchasing. While we were picking the canvas we liked the best we got... More

I am entranced by Des' artwork so I am very happy that I was finally able to make some time to look in his gallery this morning. Not only is his work brilliant, it was a lovely experience to have a friendly chat with Des in person. His modern interpretations of the rainforest landscapes are my absolute favourite. If you... I stopped in here looking for a wedding/honeymoon gift for a friend if mine and I was blown away. The art work was magnificent and a beautiful representation of far North QLD! I was very lucky to snap up a piece and my friend loved it!! Don't leave town without one of Des's paintings.
