nice walk up the steep mountain but the views weren't too great. It is a good workout for faded tourists. We saw a wallaby on the way down too. Lots of trip hazards to it is hard to gaze out on the forest too much.

The Red Arrow is fabulous free exercise. But if you want to push yourself a little harder, upgrade to the Blue. I love the Blue Arrow. Don't be put off by the official line that it is going to take you hours and hours (or...More

Short walk up a hill by a track and steps. Then back down to the starting point. Quite strenuous if not fit. Very good cardio exercise. The blue arrow which is considerable longer, starts at the summit of the red arrow. Views at the top.

Great way to get the heart going, there are so many stairs you think they are never going to end but the climb to the top is worth it with great views over the airport and city. We even saw a huge lizard lazing himself...More

Nice hike up and down. Good view from the top. Gets the heart pumping since there are lots of stairs. Not too difficult to do even if you are out of shape.

Wear good shoes, repellent and take a bottle of water. Great views over the airport and sea. Steps can be slippery so runners are preferable. Plenty of the local wildlife to see. Takes approx 40mins with a stop up the top to admire the view.

Started in Cairns CBD and walked to many kilometres for being on holidays 😔. Round trip with blue arrow is 17kms. Need to be a fairly competent bush walker as the tracks are not overly clear and very narrow and uneven. Summit lookout really isn't...More

My partner & I went on this walk and it seemed to just keep on going. It was fun and we got lapped a few times (at least 6 by one guy) by some locals because we didn't prepare ourselves for the sheer amount of...More

A well patronised walking track which offers great and different views of Cairns - including being above aircraft as they take off from the Cairns airport, Has been trouble on the track before, but relatively safe for all.

You can come here to get fit or for a nice bush walk. On the top you can watch the planes take of from the airport. If you are lucky you may even see some native animals.
