As Cairns does not have a beach, people head to the Northern Beaches for a Beach Break. Trinity is just one of several. It is a $2.70 bus fare each way from town to here. Only swim when there are lifeguards, and NEVER at Night! Staying at one of the hotels there is expensive, so are the restaurants.

Really atractive place in which I've been few years ago, beautiful beach with soft sand, paradise place between the jungle and the oceania ! More over, there are lots of special animals that you can only see there. So do not wait anymore and come to visit this city now because you really need to !!!

Visiting from NZ and stayed here for 10 days at Marlin Cove Resort. What a great location just 20 minutes drive from Cairns central with the Airport in between. Trinity has a lovely beach (not as big or as commercial as Palm Cove) and has great dining options. Our favourite was the Italian Restaurant L'Unico Trattoria for food quality and... More

The locals of Cairns prefer this beach to Palm Cove Beach due to the fact that it is not as commercially developed as Palm Cove Beach. Overlooked by Palm trees all along the beach, Trinity Beach is a beautiful beach to sun worship and has a safe area to swim in from the point of view that it has nets... More

Trinity beach itself is beautiful, although has become very touristic in the last few years. There are several good eateries but Lunico and Blue Moon Grill are, I think, superb. This place gets very busy at the weekends but is well worth a visit.

Free Parking and a beach walk along this shaded beachfront at Trinity Beach. You can swim and have a family day at the beach here. There are food outlets at reasonable prices along the foreshore. There are many resorts here as well so you get to see how the other half lives.

The beach is stunningly beautiful with soft sand, lots of shells, shallow swimming areas well covered by life guards. It was not busy but it was wet and cold it will probably be very busy in summer but I should imagine just as lovely. There were lots of seating areas and BBQ hot plates with drinking fountains and water taps... More
