This is a delightful beach to visit and sit watching the view, but no waves. Also not much to do around the surrounding area. In north Cairns Kewarra is the best beach to go to, although no waves either. But it has a lovely park, picnic/BBQ area and a Lifeguard at all times.

A lovely clean beach, perfect for the children with no surf/waves. Great to have a stinger-net sectioning some of the water for safer swimming.

We stayed at a beach apartment which overlooks the beautiful beach scenery, even during the storm the beach is still beautiful on its own way. The footpath is very clean (no dog poo) and levelled which is very useful for our sons who use the walker to move around (& catch Pokemons). The Sushi place is not bad, some dishes... More

Trinity in my favorite beach in Cairns, it's community and tourism mixed nicely together. Great coffee and cocktails on offer right on the beach 💜💙💚❤️

We visited Cairns' northern beaches: yorkers knob, trinity, clifton, palm cove and ellis beaches. Only Palm cove is different, all other beaches are similar. They are beautiful beach, but that's it. There are plenty of apartments nearby but not many restaurants or shops. I guess because I live in Sydney which is famous for beautiful beaches, these beaches are average... More

Quiet tranquil township suitable for retirees as there is not much to do. Apart from the wonderful beach with a pleasant scenic Esplanade walk Trinity is very much a sleepy hollow. The Hotel is spacious but nothing out of the ordinary with the meal choices. We did order the seafood special for two and found it just so so. The... More

Nice safe beach patrolled by life guards. Plenty of signage re stingers and crocodiles, and this beach has stinger net. Great family destination and a walking track to the headland, plus great view to the islands.

We stopped here for some dinner on way back to cairns. But we loved the look of this beach. Great playground for the kids too. Would love to come back one day and sit and relax.
