We did this tour about 5 years ago when Henry was running the operation. This trip was very memorable with croc sightings, catching, handling and cooking of fresh mud crabs and fishing. My 12 year old at that time loved the trip so being back in Cairns we decided to do the trip again and this time to bring the... More

Kent was a hospitable and patient guide. He was informative and helpful with all those who had little fishing experience. The home made rice paper rolls for morning tea was a surprise. .and the lunch of salad, crab and prawns delicious. A few fish caught but the experience of cruising the harbour retrieving the crab pots, venturing up the river... More

Great 1/2 day tour with Kent, ticked off plenty of bucket list items. Croc spotting, catching fish, crabbing. Kent was a great host and looked after us all day, cold drinks, rice paper rolls and fresh crabs cooked on the boat.

Despite the bad weather, Kent managed to take us to those spots where fish are around 🙃 and he constantly served us with snacks & drinks, really it is a warm welcome on boat. The whole fishing & crabbing is definitely fun, especially when you are told to have the fresh fish sashimi-ed & the crab cooked by Kent! Totally... More

With all seven fishers on board ranging from the age of 8 thru to retirees being given the thrill of catching, in the case of some, their first ever fish it is proof positive our host Kent, really knows his profession. With tea ,coffee and biscuits along with Vietnamese rolls and soft drinks on tap during the outing what more... More

3 people out on the charter - myself and a couple which made it a more intimate expletive. A very friendly captain who has fresh prawns used as dead bait. Smallish fish caught throughout the morning. Unfortunately couldn't check any crab pots as the tides were too low. A bit of a disappointment as I was keen to see a... More

Took this trip as our reef charter was cancelled due to rough weather. Didn't expect much, but it turned out to be an extremely pleasant morning. Henry is a wealth of knowledge about the inlet and he knows a lot about crabs. I think he can even talk to them. He has a great sense of humour and is very... More

Not for the pros, but if you want a casual day out on the water this is a good option. Kent knew where to take us to catch heaps of fish. When we hauled in the crab pot, it was full of mud crabs. Yum!!

What a fantastic charter! The host Henry was so lovely and ensured everyone was enjoying themselves. We all had plenty to eat as Henry cooked us up a feast from the crabs and fish we caught. Everything is provided. I highly recommend if you're after a casual days fishing and crabbing.
