Nice view of the water at high tide, low tide it becomes a vast mud flat, which is interesting but not particularly pleasant to view. I wonder also about sandflies.

One of the very best of attractions in Cairns - for both locals as well as Visitors. Reasonable amount of shade and grass areas as well. And for families & all users - adequately supervised. Finally well-maintained and clean change-rooms/toilets.

Cool off in the lagoon on cairns esplanade. It is so nice because if you are swimming around at look out to see you can see the boats rolling in plus the pelicans.
