A fun way to get around Brisbane. Whenever we're in Brisbane and heading out for some dinner we usually take the route from Dockside to Eagle St Pier. It's easy to look up the timetable online and they run very frequently until late at night....More

If you're looking for a cheap, leisurely way to see the city and the river, this is it. On a hot day, make sure you've got a hat and sit on the upper deck as it gets very hot in the cabin.

Tried this. The ferry is tiny with limited space but with poor ventilation resulting in an overwhelming and pervasive smell of sweat. Not at all pleasant.

Great to have free travel with access to both sides of Brisbane River, well done. Plenty of time tables for reference.

City Hopper service is great. Enjoyed the experience of seeing Brisbane by the river. Clean vessel and you can just hop on or off at one of the specified locations. We stayed on and treated it as a sightseeing journey.

What a great free service. Yes it’s free! Stops off at some major sights. Much nicer to see Brisbane from the river in my opinion.

The free ferry service is excellent! but if you're on a time limit, there is always a chance it may be full and you'll have to wave it goodbye and wait for another to come where enough people disembark to allow you to get on....More

During our week's stay in Brisbane, we took every opportunity to use this free river transport, kindly laid-on by courtesy of the City Council. Staying as we were in Parklands, a terminal was located conveniently close to our hotel, and with services every 30 minutes,...More

Free for guests to hop on and off, make sure you're connecting to the right docks as you make your journey as there are a few various ferries.

Depends on how you get from Surfer's Paradise to Brisbane. I would allow a full day to allow getting the light rail from Florida Gardens stop to Helensvale. You need to swap to the train heading to Brisbane. Get off at... More
