I think that when the only proper bar with eftpos (what year are we in?!?) is at the top floor, and the only way to get out is down very long and steep stairs a good thing to think about would be installing some handrails. I'm sure enough money is made in the first ten minutes of the races alone... More

We were fortunate to have a Christmas Party in the corporate boxes at Eagle Farm. Great setting and atmosphere. We were surprised at how good the food was and the service was outstanding.

Went to Eagle Farm for Melbourne Cup day. The new members has no air conditioning. This is Queensland, it is not optional. Not impressed by the recent renervations, going for an industrial warehouse look just makes the place look unfinished. Power went out for a couple of hours and was unable to watch a broadcast of the Cup because of... More

I went here for the Sunday market. I was a busy place with a number of different stalls. The racecourse was lovely with its old brick buildings.

We paid $90 to become "Members" for a day. While this allows access to the Members enclosure you cannot access the special members bar and must order food from an island stations and pick it up later this prompted me to go outside and purchase from 2 of the food facilities there. What. A. Joke. $5 sausage Rolls, $5 cold... More

Scored discounted tickets for the AAMI lounge - brilliant! Own bookie, bar, tab and VIP toilets as well as lounges right on the track. However, no foodstalls in this area and queues outside were phenomenal -- food was expensive and the wait times ridiculous. Brilliant venue. Love the races but need to solve fast food problems.

We had a fabulous day on Stradbroke Day at Eagle Farm. We enjoyed the newly renovated bar area under the members stand and were thankful that we had decided not to sit in the Champagne Bar. We knew it would be busy but that area was completely overwhelmed. Service at the bar was impossible as the patrons were 3 deep... More
