My Goughy was in doggy nirvana at this beach, the dogs were well managed by owners, the space was big enough for everyone to run around even inside the dog park was plenty of room to mingle and play. We came from the south side once you get onto the gateway arterial it was so easy and well signed for... More

Nudgee Beach is a tidal flat with a large expanse of sand exposed at low tide. It is also a very important habitat for migratory shore birds, many of which are in steep decline. It is a great place to walk dogs; however THEY MUST BE ON LEASH, it is not an off leash area. Dogs off leash chase and... More

Nudgee Beach is a great place to take the dogs. It offers of leash areas, playground for the kids, amenities, BBQ area, shaded seating area, cafe around the corner. Would not recommended swimming in there though.

During low tide, dogs (and horses) can go off-leash for a run around. Tide goes out quite a long way, so plenty to explore and lots of puddles to splash in.

This is an excellent spot for people interested in the bird life and walking through the Mangrove forest. There are lovely views across the bay to Moreton Island.

If you are looking for a beautiful golden sand beach, with crystal clear to deep blue water....forget Nudgee Beach. Nudgee Beach is not serviced by public transport, so getting to it is by hire car etc. Once there, you'll find a very flat, shallow mangrove swamp and little else whilst getting eaten alive by sand flies! Swim at your own... More

If you are looking for 3 metre waves, Nudgee Beach is not for you. Nestled beside the mouth of the Kedron Brook, Nudgee Beach has been a favourite of generations of North Brisbane families. The expansive Boondall Wetlands nearby are home to many bird species and an important resting place to migratory birds. Although there is no actual beach it... More

Nudgee beach is really more like a very tidal mangrove with some open muddy sand. Very good if you have dogs at low tide as not many people use it except for dog owners. The tide goes out a fare way at low tide. It is on the bay so no wave action. I wouldn't swim there at all. Its... More

Nudgee Beach is quite an isolated place about 15 minutes from Brisbane Airport. There are not many things to do there but it is popular for people who want to take their dogs for a walk out on the beach at low tide.
