Went on a tour of the ground and as a cricket geek totally loved it. You went to the changing room and went pitchside.

The home of the Brisbane Lions I watched the Lions play Geelong one of the top sides in the AFL as expected the lions were well and truly beaten but in the second quarter some good signs were seen of what they can do when all goes right for them 5 goals were kicked by them to Geelongs one. Cricket... More

During Brisbane visit my bucket list is to see a ODI match and it did not disappoint me because my favorite teams were playing (Australia vs India). Iam all for having some fun but was trying to to get good clicks of favorite cricketers and moments.

The Gabba is named after Wooloongabba, the suburb in which it is located. Its official name is the Brisbane Cricket Ground, but the ground is universally known s the Gabba. Apart from cricket, it's best known as the home of the Brisbane Lions, an Australian Football League (AFL) team. The Lions won three Premierships in a row, making them one... More

Compared to many grounds, the Gabba is really good. Good toilet facilities and food and drink easy to access. Good views of the game from almost everywhere - but cricket is better from the ends. Also Northern side is better if you want to stay out of the sun. Easy access by train or bus. Good parking around. Close to... More

This past Saturday gone by July 30th, after work I decided to go take the bus into The Gabba to watch the AFL match at night time. It was easy to get there via public transport, I got off at Woolloongabba station and walked, got ticket then entered, quite easily. The grass had activities for kids. The toilets are clean,... I got quite a unique view of the Gabba as i was there doing a stair climb challenge called Stadium Stomp. The Gabba is a modern oval and was great for the Stadium stomp challange.

We did a tour of the Gabba while in Brisbane recently, home of the Brisbane Lions and also known as a world class cricket ground as well. The tour was great, our guide was knowledgeable and the property itself is quite something. We had hoped to catch a Lion’s match while we were here but they were playing an away... More
