There is nothing special at this pier but the CityCat ferry that takes you to the Riverside ferry terminal is a lot nicer and it's only a short walk away. The ferry ride itself is really enjoyable!!

What a beautiful wee place to discover. There are so many beautiful restaurants down at the pier that we had trouble choosing. We ended up going back a few nights later.

We walked around Eagle Street Pier yesterday with its excellent views of the Brisbane River and surrounds. The City Hopper and City Cat ferries provide good access to the pier as well as multiple bus routes. The Pier has several restaurants in the vicinity which must be a real "happening" place in the evenings and over the weekends.

Eagle Street Pier is a hive of activity day or night. The Pier is lined with ferry stops and accommodates many restaurants and bars. Of a day the place buzzes with business professions; workers exercising on their lunch breaks (watch for bikes); tourists; ferry passengers. Of a night the restaurants and bars come alive and the city lights add to... More

Lots of restaurants in the area. Overlooking the north bank of the river. Great views. Watch out for the cyclist they don't watch for pedestrians. Nice walking paths leading to the botanical gardens. The free city river shuttle stops at the pier.

It is a good place to walk by the river and to take a bite or a drink at one of the cafés and restaurants. You can also watch the Kookaburra paddle boats depart. They are really old and elegant. There is also a modern water feature. You can cycle or walk all along the riverside.

Lots of atmosphere here, lots of restaurants from fine dining to casual and a good place to catch free city hopper.
