Went for a drive was amazed at the army bunkers, quiet a few of them. One was open to walk into and read about the bombing of Darwin with historical items. View from the park also overlooks Darwin city.
Not far out of the city.
Great picnic area with walks and great views of the city.
WW2 ammunition bunkers are scattered around and one is accessible with information and displays.
Worth a drive.
The National Park provides a good view of Darwin City from across the bay and has a nice picnic area. Ammunition bunkers from World War II are dotted throughout the Park and one provides a display of relevant historical material.
