This centre had some creative and engaging disapkys and is worth a visit. The kids loved learning about the wetlands, and although it was dry at the time (they’d spring a leak but it had just been fixed and was awaiting the wet to refill)...More

Have been here before and it is in need of updating which is why some of the exhibits weren’t operational.

Really well wet out, extremely informative and great for the whole family to visit. Friendly and very informative staff member who goes the extra mile - excellent local information. Great viewing platforms lots of flora & fauna - the birds are quite spectacular!

Meet the traditional owner Graham Keaton, just out off luck and told him he has a great country .If you get a chance go to his Putakil aboriginal experience

good information about the wetlands. A great view from the second floor of the wetlands, and a great video of how the monsoon rains affect so many animals lives.

Its certainly worth a stop here if your passing by enroute to Darwin or a further onward journey on Arnheim highway. Its a great stop for tourist information about the general area and some interesting ecological information about region too with some informative displays.

We visited this centre, but were a little disappointed. Some exhibits looked tired, the cafe was closed and the views may be better when the area is greener, but there is some interesting information available, and no cost to visit.

The movie was the best bit. Do that first. The static displays where very well done and excellent for kids.

Visited this Information Centre as part of a 4 Day Top End Tour organised through Mary River Wilderness Retreat. I would highly recommend the tour.

A bathroom stop and look around the displays was nice. Lovely Views over the wetlands. We learnt later there are tours so maybe next visit

Windows to the wetlands situated on the Arnhem Hwy on the way to Jumping Coc tour and Jabiru and Kakadu National Park Northern Territory. Approx 50 min drive from Darwin. Hope this helps.
