There is an excellent playground here. Children wouldn't leave. Nice sea breeze and views of the water. Either the sea or a lake. Peace.

We drove along here to check out some of the WW2 remnants. There's areas to swim & paddle, a great bike path & picnic areas, loads of trees

A number of different things to look at. There are picnic spots, not a huge number & a number of them are in the sun. But great views nonetheless.

If you have hired a car it is an easy drive to East Point. We were just checking out Pee Wees and getting our bearings when we stumbled across all this war memorabilia. An interesting area to roam around.

By far the best beach area in Darwin, great spot to either walk the beach or laze under the tree's in the park area whilst the kids play. Clean toilets, bbq's and plenty of parking.

What a great place to spend a lazy afternoon. You can watch the kids play in the water as the tide slowly goes out. You can take pictures of the birds and mangroves. You can watch the kids play on the swings. Or you can...More

Grubby looking beach with rocks up the one end. Virtually no facilities. There has to be 10,000 better beaches in Australia.
