Darwin Harbour Cruises have two luxuriously restored vessels, the “Charles Darwin” and the “Tumlaren”. We offer a wide range of harbour cruises to suit all budgets and tastes. The “Charles Darwin” is a 25-metre tri-level Catamaran, she has been lovingly restored and now offers a range of harbour cruises and all the facilities of a floating restaurant. The delicious meals are prepared on board by the top quality staff and only the freshest Australian Seafood and local products are used. The “Tumlaren” is a 20-metre schooner that has also been restored to immaculate condition. The “Tastes of the Territory” Sunset Cruise includes complimentary sparkling wine at Sunset and delicious light Territorian style tasting platters. Our experienced crew share interesting and informative commentary on the sites and rich history of Darwin Harbour, Cyclone Tracey and WWII. Both vessels are available for private charter.

Darwin Sunset Dinner Cruise

Typical dinner cruise, typical buffet food. The best part of the cruise was the lightening storm and the company.

For us it was a relaxing and enjoyable way to spend our first evening in the NT. The departure point on the wharf could be more clearly signposted. We expected the service and food to have been better for the price. It took a long time for the food to come out and as we were one of the last... More

We did a bus tour of Darwin which was wonderful, but when we got to the harbour cruise part we were unable to board, due to the huge tides. The foot ramp onto the boat was at least 45degrees down, we are elderly and this was extremely dangerous. No one even offered us a helping hand. I'm sure the cruise... More

Just had a cruise on the "Charles Darwin" ship for a work show. Food was great. Grain fed beef, big pieces of Atlantic Salmon, Chicken, Prawns, Oysters,Salads....then came desert.(very nice) Very well looked after by Paul and Jay who provided great service and made sure all ran smoothly. For under $100 I enjoyed a top class meal, a couple of... More

We all had a wonderful night last night. The food was lovely, the weather and atmosphere was good too. We were expecting it to rain, but alas it didn’t!! We even got to see the amazing sunset! The staff on the Charles Darwin were all happy and efficient and made our night a great one. Thanks Darwin Harbour Cruises

The Tour Guide had a great knowledge of the history of the area. He told interesting stories & really made a good effort in keeping us informed. Sadly the air con broke down on the main eating / bar areas & it was uncomfortably hot. The food served was ok, not great for the price.

As a local I was impressed with the view of the city from the water and the changes to the skyline. The food was very good and well presented, the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times my husband and I had a very enjoyable evening in airconditioned comfort.

So overall the cruise was ok. The vessel (Charles Darwin) was set out well and the crew were good. The let down was the food, buffet style 2 courses which was not good value for money. We also had to purchase our own alcohol. Would have also been nice to have some music. Not realistically priced.
