I love this place, so quiet, so beautiful, so lack of other people. If i lived in Darwin one of the first things I'd do is buy a small boat and fish in this beautiful body of water.

Might be one of those places to stop and have a leg stretcher If you pass by for some reason. Croc sign here as everywhere else in NT, but was great for a walk down to the water..

Go packed prepared if you're going to go here. Take your portable bbq, fluids and good walking shoes and good bathers. Locals do swim here (although I wouldn't because crocs are everywhere and crocs walk very easily over land). There are interesting history placques on...More

This is a good place to see water birds and other creatures that enjoy the water. Be careful if you go wandering around in the bush as we saw a water buffalo there that almost gave me a heart attack!
