This is Sydney's Oldest Hotel (the oldest pub is The Fortune of War) and it has plenty of character. It brews it's own beers and the 'Quayle Ale' that I had was a superb, very drinkable, Summer Ale that went down a treat on a...More

A traditional pub from the old days including a small brewery. Beers just delicious and reasonably priced. A bit outside of the Rocks, but don't miss this one if you are a "beery".

When visiting The Rocks area it is recommended that you drop into The Lord Nelson brewery pub, especially if it is around lunchtime or dinner. The pub is great, serving real pub food in an old stone building that just reeks with history. However the...More

This pub was used years ago to entice people to drink lots...find themselves brought down the cellar and off on a boat.... The staff are friendly and they serve a great pint and pie! Do visit, even just to pop your head in. ENJOY!

A short walk up from the harbor and the Rocks, the Lord Nelson has great beer. Can get really busy but there are usually some seats and standing areas outside too.

Met a mate here this week and really liked the old school atmosphere here. The beer was also good, and brewed in house and the staff were helpful and on the ball. I'd go back.
