Sightly hidden away venue, security pretty chill and excellent stage and mosh layout for a small crowd. Would recommend anyone to go at least once in their life time.

Visited on Saturday night for the Burlesque festival. The venue was set up in theatre mode with rows of chairs in front of the stage. An intimate venue. Bar area available with plastic glasses allowed in the theatre. Wine was $7 a glass. Friendly staff...More

I've been to many gigs at the Metro including UK band James in November and also a variety of local & international artists like Temper Trap, Manic Street Preachers, Neil Finn and more. None have disappointed. There are 2 separate rooms; the main room has...More

Pretty good venue for live music, managed to find some sneaky seats upstairs which was ideal - definitely need to get in early if you want to nab them. Always seem to have a good night at the Metro.

A nice small venue with good sound and super easy to get to. The good terraced standing arrangement makes it easy for everyone to see. One of the best venues in Sydney.

Lost count of the number of gigs I have seen at this iconic theatre over the years. This year I have seen The Damned and The Undertones at The Metro which were both excellent. It really is an ideal sized live music venue with easy...More

Having recently attended a concert recently, has not changed in 20 years. A great location to see up and close a band/concert drinks at around $10 per drink, maybe a little expensive, but maybe that's Sydney prices? Toilets a little average and not cleaned during...More

Been looking forward to hearing Corinne Bailey Rae. It was difficult to hear the purity of her voice. Visibility is good , sticky floors OK , Some seats would be good. Perhaps it was just the wrong venue acoustically for this soft-voiced singer.

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
