Wonderful movie and it's a great set up where you can either enjoy bringing a picnic or taking advantage of the food truck. Maybe pay more money for "Gold Grass" where you get a reserved bean bag and food and beverage service. Which is nice for a treat without having to carry the picnic basket

I attended the Moonlight Cinema on Boxing Day and bought the VIP package in which you receive a beanbag section. They obviously tried to pack as many people in as possible. In order to do this they seated patrons underneath a huge tree that had lots of bats. Unfortunately, 5 minutes after sitting down in our allocated section my partner... More

Actual cinema and movie part is great!!! Bean bags are highly recommended, very comfortable but that's about it. Food is very average and be prepared to wait. (Take your own in). Staff very friendly but looked under the pump. We also paid for an upgrade but once we got in discovered that, although kind of sectioned off no one was... More

This was fun. Went with friends to see Grimsby which was hilarious. It's BYO which is great, you can take food as well. We got some sliders which were ok but nothing special, the Parmesan fries were good and cheesy. It's great on a lovely Sydney evening.

I enjoyed our visit to the moonlight cinema. We went two days before the season was over but sill found it very pleasant. There is "gold class" seating more directly in front of the screen, we opted to go for general admission and still had very good seats. The only real difference in gold class is that waitstaff come to... More

The cinema itself is ok, although if it's windy the screen becomes distorted. The food service is the worst I have ever experienced in my life. You have to order at a separate stall and then wait for your food at a different one. Was told when I made my order it would take around 20 minutes, as it was... More

I 100% recommend going to see a movie at the moonlight cinema at Centennial park. My husband and I got there pretty early to make sure we got a good seat. While we waited for the movie to start we watched the sunset and enjoyed the cool acoustic music. We took a couple of blankets and a hamper with some... More

Movies in the outdoors - not a new concept but this one is much better thought out than others. You can hire a bean bag chair for $9 and I would probably be inclined to that next time - not as young as I used to be! But bring a blanket, some pillows and lay back and enjoy the movie... More

I do not come to the movies to be fed 40!!! minutes of advertisement! Are you people kidding me!? 30 minutes were the advertisements of crap like sound systems! Not even the trailers! I am furious, as it spoiled the whole impression of the event with comfortable beanies and awesome promotion by eHarmony, giving away free blankets. Last night they... More

My partner and I purchased the VIP/Gold Class with waited service tickets to the movie session however I feel this was not worth the price for it. The service staff were very friendly and attentive however the food was cold and average and the wine glasses were quite small. Will be buying the regular tickets next time and packing my... More
