Fantastic performance of this production. Rose Byrne's comedic timing makes the play , although a very strong and menacing performance by Lachy Hulme also is worth the ticket price . The Roslyn Packer theatre was packed, but still comfortable. I'd recommend this wonderful play to most, but if you are sensitive to strong language or aggressive behavior I'd be a... More

We went to see "A Flea in Her Ear" at the Opera House and what a fantastic evening and performance it was. Such great fun was had and I would definitely recommend a viewing if it's still possible. The cast and performance was excellent, bravo to all.

We have attended Sydney Theatre Company plays for many years and think others should know about this Sydney icon. The locations on or close to Sydney Harbour are sensational , the variety of plays means there is one to suit every taste , and the supreme performances leave you wondering how the players maintain such high standards for nights on... Keep saying the same thing but STC is struggling to put on theatre that we find entertaining - having just seen Speed the Plow, my wife will now resist ever joining me again- asks why such a boring play that has no relevance to today. Sat in the front rows fortunately so felt some emotional connection but doubt if the... More

We're old hands of the review and have been dedicated followers since it began (back when they did two shows a year even). Last year was the 15th and was a bit indulgent as the ensemble looked back. We gave them that even though it didn't prove to be a highlight of the season as it was in previous years.... More

Great plays, great service, great atmosphere and what a view! Right on the harbour! We watched the Power plays and were so engrossed that we were surprised when 2 hours had gone by. There is a fantastic restaurant attached as well. Definitely recommend the pate.

Our first experience of this theatre space. We were able to purchase last minute seats, and wine and dine prior and after the performance at places nearby.

Definitely quality both in the plays themselves and quality of acting - sometimes I find the play itself heavy and almost depressing but that doesn't distract from the theatre and acting.

Our first visit to the main theatre of the Sydney Theatre Company's headquarters in Wash Bay. The Ros Packer Theatre is a splendid thing. It is quite large so be careful about where you sit if you have hearing problems. On our next visit we will definitely reach deeper into our wallets and pay for seats closer to the stage.... More

I finally got to the theatre last weekend and enjoyed 2 hour, 15 mins of brilliant theatre with Sydney Theatre Company's "Hayfever", by Noël Coward. A so-called respectful English family spends time in their country house and shows their real colours to the visitors they each invite for the weekend. Etiquette is not a word the Bliss family is familiar... More
