Don't forget your camera as you walk through this beautiful tribute in Hyde Park. There was construction going on but we didn't mind that as it is still worth the visit. There are lots of large signs and images with soldiers' stories to read and...More

All War memorial are a reminder of the unfriendly or the wicked face of us humans who could wage war to prove our ego.

I visited the Anzac War Memorial several times during my visit to Sydney in July 2017. It is at the end of Hyde Park. Outside there is a reflection pool. Inside there is an eternal flame. Also monuments about World War I. ANZAC stands for...More

This monument is beautifully located in Hyde Park and has a nice mirror pond in front of it. It is worth stopping by and pop in for a quick glimpse and to remember the sacrifices made during the Great War.

Situated in Hyde Park an oasis of calm in Sydney's CBD, the memorial is a calm and fitting place of remembrance. The eternal flame is understated and the whole experience is one of peace and respect.

Really lovely setting at Hyde Park. Beautiful opportunity to remember the sacrifice the Anzacs have made for the current generations.

A very fitting and special tribute to the soldiers who fought in the wars - a dominant structure in a major park by the CBD

A well maintained memorial in a peaceful setting amidst the bustle of Sydney. The Memorial and the adjacent Pool of Reflection is well worthy of a short visit

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
