Clovelly beach is more of a bay than a beach, due to the two headlands that are by its sides. Currents that come into the bay are slowed down by the headlands and the beach, itself is quite retreated landwards so the waves are gentler....More

Different from typical Sydney beaches such as Bondi and Coogee, Clovelly can offer you reefs, snorkelling, and much beautiful scenes to watch and enjoy. Also for picnicking and relaxation, Clovelly is great. Plenty of parking spots available. Beware of massive currents on windy days, they...More

Safe bathing for small kids from a sandy beach . Good swimmers can enjoy swim out along narrow outlet to the sea. Both sides of inlet are concreted where people lie down to sunbath . There is a cafe and toilets here. During busy times...More

This beach is a good place to get a tan, swim or snorkel. Bue to the entries like a pool the acces to the water is pretty simple. If you snorkel you get to see a lot of different fish.

Paid $4.80 for a large takeaway flat white with regular milk... tasted like dishwasher water. absolutely ridiculous even for the eastern suburbs. do not recommend.

Clovelly's little protected cove is an ideal area for swimmers of all competences and preferences. From the swells of the area out towards the sea, to the nice currents of the mid-section, to shallow rock areas and the beach itself, it has three sides to...More

When in clovelly, head to this amazing bakery! It's on clovelly road on the way down to the beach. My friend told me that they make birthday cakes, so ordered one for my partners birthday. They make the best cakes ❤️🎂 thanks guys

Very accessible by public transport, Coogee is the
smaller, friendlier, more intimate version of Bondi
Beach. Coogee is the only beach in the Eastern suburbs
that does not have big waves, making it an excellent
family beach. The Coogee Bay Hotel, located right
across the beach, has one of the biggest beer gardens
in Australia and plenty of entertainment every night
of the week. Be on the lookout for celebrity

Yes there is! It's slightly above and beside the beach/rock pool on the northern side, a great location for a party of friends.
