Well worth the drive out to this spectacular lookout. Few Sydneysiders are aware of how wonderful this view is. There are also many walks (short and long) with a wildflowers (early spring) and Aboriginal art works

I am fortunate to be a cyclist, and ride from my residence to West Head Lookout & return once or twice per week (80km round trip), and I can vouch for this being one of the best/scenic locations in Sydney.

A wonderful panoramic view of the area. Barrenjoey lighthouse, Lion Island and all the way back to Patonga, Umina and Ettalong. Breathtaking views of the entrance to the beautiful ocean. A lovely headland and worth the drive.
