If you are sick of Bondi Beach (because just admit it, the Bondi Beach is waaayy tooo crowded, at least for me), just stop by at Coogee. It has a great view, with a great space to sunbath, picnic, or play around on beach. And...More

Coogee beach is nice and beautiful. It is a great place any time of the year for swimming. We saw awesome cliffs. We had a nice bath and a great walk. They have a locker where we can keep our valuables, which is very good...More

Love this beach. Not quite as busy as Bondi. Grab (borrow?) free wifi standing out in front of the Coogee Bay Hotel just across Arden Street. Making the Bondi to Coogee walk? Recommend start at Coogee and walk the other direction towards Bondi. Looking for...More

What a stunning pristine beach this is to visit! I highly recommend this beach for its clean waters and sand. It has a picnic area on the cliffs above with a gorgeous view of the coast. It's a much preferable choice to Bondi. There is...More

Another great Sydney beach. Less tourists than iconic Bondi. Great restaurants, pubs, and beer gardens. Nice park lining the beach with plentiful spots to picnic and amble.

We walked from Bondi beach to Coogee beach (it can take a few hours, with a lunch break at Bronte). We then took the bus from Coogee back to town, using our OPAL card

Coogee beach is perfect to visit with your Family or friends. It's easy acess ( by car, bus 373, by bike or walk). It's about 30 min from dtw of Sydney. There are some restaurants (Pavilion , is the best), bakery, pubs or pizza restaurant...More

Very accessible by public transport, Coogee is the
smaller, friendlier, more intimate version of Bondi
Beach. Coogee is the only beach in the Eastern suburbs
that does not have big waves, making it an excellent
family beach. The Coogee Bay Hotel, located right
across the beach, has one of the biggest beer gardens
in Australia and plenty of entertainment every night
of the week. Be on the lookout for celebrity

It's like the Oyster card in London, a card that you can top up with money and use on the public transport. Can be topped up at newsagents and stations.
