Watch out for the seagulls dive bombing everyone. Lovely and a clean promenade and beach, much larger than Bondi, lots of pubs and eating places to enjoy. Packed on a Sunday as most places are in Sydney..

Less famous and crowded than Bondi Beach, and hence probably more preferable. Can still get very busy, but has a much more local feel.

Golden sand, turquoise water, mostly a gentle surf break although can sometimes have rough shore break, this beach is a gem. Patrolled by life guards every day with great amenities. Right on public transport and a plenty of eating and drinking options.

Loved Coogee Beach Felt like a neighborhood, small community. The Pavillion restaurant is right on the beach with great food, drink, entertainment and views of the water.

This is the view of Coogee Beach from Wylies Baths. Great place to grab a morning coffee or have a swim. $5 entry fee if you want to swim.
