Very beatiful garden, especially because it is near the ocean. There are very nice places to take pics.

A beautiful botanical garden that can take hours to walk if you stop and smell the roses and the other flora. We needed a break from the hustle of downtown Sydney and that was an easy answer. We walked the shoreline to Mrs MacQuarrie’s seat...More

Last Saturday, I walked through the gardens and was so very impressed with the gardens and the improvements that have been made. This is a must see location for visitors, as it also gives fantasic views of the most beatuiful harbour in the world

Beautiful, paved walkway amidst exotic trees and flowers, often in full view of the harbor and opera house. No charge for admittance. Definitely worth seeing if you’ve walked to the wharf, seen the opera house, and want to prolong the beauty. The singing birds alone...More

I regularly walk through here on my morning walks when staying in Sydney. Great to see that the grounds are always well maintained and tidy. Beautiful views over the Sydney harbour. Nice place to have a little picnic if you can avoid the birds.

Came here a few times with the children. It is great for the children to learn about plants with guided tours. Plenty of room for them to run around and learn about history. Great view of the opera house and bridge.

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
