A really relaxing feel to these gardens. Restaurant and cafes excellent. Most plants especially trees labelled, gardens very well maintained. Families were picnicking or just relaxing . Escape from the bustle of the city for a few hours.

The well manicured botanic gardens are a pleasure to walk through. But, we found the gardens came up short on having extensive planting beds of plants -- it was mostly lawn.
We spent a full day here. Wonderful and convenient for the opera house and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Loads of wild parrots and ibis's
Comprehensive catalog of all sorts of foliage including a specific greenhouse for ferns and a hall called the Calyx which is currently showing a pollination themed exhibit.
I love flowers and I love views of water. This garden has it all. The selection and layout of the garden amkes it a great way to spend an afternoon.
Situated next to the Harbour and the Opera House, several scenic walks amongst all the plants are available. Quiet considering how close it is to Sydney CBD, with great views out to the harbour.
It was a real treat to walk through this large city park. Great views are available of the Opera House, Harbor Bridge, the bay and Central Sydney aside from being a wonderful park. A definite must see on a trip to Sydney.
There are many entrances to the Gardens, along Macquarie street and from Circular Quay/Opera House. Large grassed area with plenty of cover and amazing views across the harbour and within the gardens. A must see and do.
