25 April, 2015 Aussie Farmstay and Bush Adventures We had the pleasure to take this four-day trip this month (April, 2015) with Sally Bray. It was an enjoyable trip thanks to Australia's great nature and to Sally's wonderful skills and dedication as a tourist guide. Throughout the trip we felt like "at home" since Sally took care for everything to... More

We took the Blue Mountains Day Tour in Late October with Sally, who owns the company. This was a full day tour, consisting of going to a fascinating petting zoo in Sydney, the Blue Mountains Nature Center, Shopping and Lunch in Katoomba, and a visit to the Aboriginal Center. (see their tour description for more detailed descriptions.) Sally, a former... More

Thank you for your glowing endorsement Behruz. You're right it was a very busy weekend for tourists, but I think we managed to avoid the crowds quite well. I am very glad that you and your family enjoyed the experience, and I hope you had a nice week in Sunny Queensland too. Sally More

We are just home with wonderful memories of the 4 day bush tour from Sydney. We were a group of only 4, some with mobility challenges, and Sally did a wonderful job of tailoring the trip to meet our needs, without anyone feeling we were missing anything. She was always relaxed, flexible and responsive and the schedule was not overly... More

Our four day tour with Sally was the highlight of our family trip to Australia. Our kids (9 & 13) loved the tour as well. Some people below have commented on the long car ride. Is there a lot of driving? Yes. But to experience the things you get to on this tour, you have to get out of the... More

Do not go on this. I went with my 11/13 year olds and she got drunk and could not drive. My kids were scared. Could not open the car door etc. We cancelled the tour and she asked for $ 300 to get us back to Sydney. No choice. Being out in nowhere we had to pay to get back... More

Hi Shell, You know that everything you have said is untrue. The cost of your tour was $2100 (as clearly stated on my website as the minimum booking must include 2 adult fares) but you chose to pay only $1800, even after several telephone calls in which you attempted to get a discount. So you know very well that the... More

I joined Sally on her tour and had a great time. The group was with 10 people and we did the 4 day farm stay tour. The distances were fine (not to long driving). Sally is a great host. She knows a lot, is friendly, helpful and kind. She made such an effort to help me (being a celiac). She... More

The overnight at the Morris farm was delightful. It was not contrived and gave us an opportunity to spend time with some real Australians. Being on a farm where they still use draft horses instead of tractors was a once in lifetime experience, and the stars that evening were spectacular. The distance to the Morris farm is substantial, but Sally... More

We booked a three day bush tour with Sally, it was lovely to be collected at our hotel and not have the hassle of organising transport ourselves but if we had known how good public transport is in the Blue Mountains we would have saved a lot of money booking ourselves. Thank you for your review Elizabeth, I am certainly very sorry that you don't feel that you got value for money. Staying in Glebe

Neighbourhood Profile
Glebe
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
