It's not only a wine tour, but a wildlife, chocolate, cheese and beer tour! A day trip from Sydney, try some amazing wines at small picturesque boutique wineries, as well as visit a chocolate factory, taste some local cheeses and visit a brewery. Our morning tea with kangaroos, koalas and other native animals is a very special experience too with sightseeing in the beautiful Hunter Valley countryside. Private tours are also a specialty for families and/or friends. Join us! Would love to have you along. Sydney city tours are also available.

We read about this tour on tripadvisor when we were planning our trip from the UK....and boy what a fun and educational way to sample two of Australia's principal attractions...its diverse wildlife and wine/beer making industries. Starting at 7.45 we were picked up by Sam...More

Sam was terrific from the minute we were picked up to the drop off at the end of the day. Good mix of wineries and other businesses in the Hunter. Long day but worth it, especially if you haven't seen kangaroos or koalas up close.

Interesting tour with good information and interaction. Sam picked us up at 8 AM and the tour was on. The tour was limited to 12 people so we were able to interact with Sam and other travelers well. Our first stop was at a wildlife...More

While the ride out and back to the Hunter Valley is long (2 hours each way) Sam does a good job breaking it up with the stop for morning tea at the Kangaroo sanctuary on the way there. After that unique stop, you're onto the...More

We absolutely adored Sam. He genuinely is a great, down to earth, funny, very personable person. My niece and I loved him! We did the winery, wildlife, chocolate, cheese and brewery tour. My niece was ecstatic to pat a koala and kangaroo. Wish Sydney was...More

Same here. We let them know the address we were staying at and they told us where to meet them. If you're not sure, email them beforehand and ask them directly.

Question 1: How far is this from CBD of Sydney (time wise) - what time do you typically depart and return? Question 2: Would our two sons 17 an 16 be able to join us, or do you have to be a specific age?

Hi Brett, The Hunter Valley is 2 hours from Sydney although we stop half way up there at the wildlife park for morning tea. All ages are welcome!
