It's not only a wine tour, but a wildlife, chocolate, cheese and beer tour!...

It's not only a wine tour, but a wildlife, chocolate, cheese and beer tour! A day trip from Sydney, try some amazing wines at small picturesque boutique wineries, as well as visit a chocolate factory, taste some local cheeses and visit a brewery. Our morning tea with kangaroos, koalas and other native animals is a very special experience too with sightseeing in the beautiful Hunter Valley countryside. Private tours are also a specialty for families and/or friends. Join us! Would love to have you along. Sydney city tours are also available.

Wonderful day trip if you are in Sydney area. Great way to meet a few other travelers to spend day with also. Sam was friendly and informative. A definite thumbs up to this tour. Great food and wine with sensational views. Sam connected well with a wide range of ages.

Did the wine tour yesterday with tour guide Sam Collins. Had an excellent day. Sam was super organized and despite battling horrendous weekend traffic and crowds kept everything in order and on time. Excellent job Sam. Dropped us off a stone throw away from our hotel that evening in spite of some dubious directions from me :) Highly recommend this... More

Glad we booked with Kangarrific to do a Hunter Valley tour - there are many tour operators but this one was so much fun! Our guide Sam was clearly very knowledgable and took us to two wineries after having got to know our group and what our preferences were so he obviously knows the wineries well! We were picked up... Sooo as a last minute plan I booked on this tour because it was pretty much one of the very few I could get on Easter wkend on Saturday to do a wine tour!! I'm soooooo glad the others were all booked! I've had a brilliant day!! In a small group of 13 it meant we all got to know... More

On one of our days in Sydney, we wanted to get away for a day to the Hunter Valley for some wine tasting. Kangarrific Tours was high recommended by another Tour company that did not do pick ups from Sydney. We were happy we picked Kangarrific Tours for this day trip. On the day of the tour, we were picked... More

We read about this tour on tripadvisor when we were planning our trip from the UK....and boy what a fun and educational way to sample two of Australia's principal attractions...its diverse wildlife and wine/beer making industries. Starting at 7.45 we were picked up by Sam at a central city location to start the tour with 7 other eager travellers. The... More

Sam was terrific from the minute we were picked up to the drop off at the end of the day. Good mix of wineries and other businesses in the Hunter. Long day but worth it, especially if you haven't seen kangaroos or koalas up close.

Interesting tour with good information and interaction. Sam picked us up at 8 AM and the tour was on. The tour was limited to 12 people so we were able to interact with Sam and other travelers well. Our first stop was at a wildlife park in the rain. Luckily the rain gave us a little break and probably bothered... More

I worked with Sam for months as I had a large group for a custom tour of the Hunter Valley. At the last minute I had an opening, and Sam found another couple to join us - really helped us out. His van isn't the newest, but we all fit, and the A/C worked well - important on a very... More

While the ride out and back to the Hunter Valley is long (2 hours each way) Sam does a good job breaking it up with the stop for morning tea at the Kangaroo sanctuary on the way there. After that unique stop, you're onto the Hunter Valley. Along the way, Sam gets to know the group (small, max 13 people)... More
