The Solitary Islands Aquarium, located at Southern Cross University's National Marine Science Centre, serves as an important community asset helping to bring an awareness and appreciation for our marine environment through education and science. Our facility is focused on regional species, resource management and conservation. The aquarium provides an intimate experience for visitors to learn about and to interact with marine life of the Coffs Coast through our series of aquariums, presentations, and visual displays.

Very interesting experience. A very well informed guide gave a lively talk about the marine reserve and all the various fish that live there. The corals were fascinating and children loved the interactive pool and the help they were given to explore the marine world....More

This small but well run aquarium is a brilliant way to educate the kids not only about the marine environment but how to help in keeping it healthy. Great exhibits and friendly staff make this a worthwhile place to visit.

Spending 30 dollars for a family to watch less than 10 tanks is too much. I was expecting a lot more but was done with this place in under 30 minutes.More

This is a small aquarium but the tanks are very clean and fantastic to view. Staff were great and highly recommend taking the kids. Good value for money

Yes, usually open on weekends. At our last visit it was $ 10 for adults, $8concession and $5 for kids. $25 family.
